Continuing Professional Education Development Program for Abdomen-Pelvis Ultrasonography Training

In order to improve the ability and skills of graduates of the FK UNS Internal Medicine Specialist, a Continuing Professional Education Development Program for Abdomen-Pelvis Ultrasonography Training is held on Saturday and Sunday, November 3-4 2018, at Aston Hotel, Surakarta. Training is the result of collaboration PPDS I Internal Medicine Faculty UNS with the Indonesian Ultrasonic Association (PUSKI) / World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology Center of Education (Jakarta WFUMB-COE).

Training includes Ultrasound of Gallbladder and Biliary Ducts, Liver Ultrasound, Pancreatic Ultrasound, Lien Ultrasound, Kidney, Bladder and Prostate Ultrasound, and Ascites Ultrasound and Pleural Effusion. The activity begins with the Opening by the Head of Internal Medicine KSM, UNS FK, Pre Test, Presentation of material by Resource Persons from the Indonesian Ultrasonic Association (PUSKI) / World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology Center (Jakarta WFUMB-COE), Practice using ultrasound with Probandus, and ends with Post Test.

The activities were attended by 28 PPDS I Internal Medicine students of FK UNS, which was the 4th class of the Abdominal-Pelvic Ultrasonography training program. It is expected that with this activity, it can improve the ability of graduates of the Internal Medicine Program 1 Internal Medicine Faculty UNS -Umam
